Finally after all this wait, Microsoft today released Visual Studio 2010 and .Net framework 4 officially. This release is first major release of .Net framework since version 2 back in 2005.
VS2010 itself has gone through a major overhaul, code editor is designed now designed on WPF shell, it has support for Windows Azure development and better support for Microsoft Sharepoint development. Application lifecycle management is one of the biggest boost that Visual studio has received with much improved integration with TFS 2010.
