So here’s a list of some of the major things that took place in last week weeks.

Microsoft finally released a search engine technology to compete with Google named Bing. Bing was previously under the “Kumo” name but it was rebranded just before its release.
Bing will replace MSN Live Search, which has languished in a distant third place behind market-leading Google and second-place Yahoo!

One of the most outstanding pieces of technologies again came from Google camp. The boys (Lars and Jens Rasmussen) from Google australia who were original creator of Google maps are back again with their latest creation – Google Wave.
Google Wave is an outstanding communication and collaboration tool that bridges the gap between email and IM based communication. All communication in Google Wave happens in real time which gives it that extra edge over other mediums. Combine this with live feeds coming from Twitter or facebook and all of a sudden Wave starts to look like an awesome content aggregator.
Here’s the official Google Wave keynote presentation from I/O conference.
Enjoy :)
